By using cleanupaimeta.com (the "service"), run by CleanupAIMeta, you agree to these terms.

The service

The service shows and removes metadata from image files. It is free and provided as is. We may change, pause or stop it at any time.

Your images

• You keep all rights to images you process. We claim none.
• Only process images you have the right to use.
• Keep your original files. The service writes a new copy and never changes your original, but we can't recover a file for you.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

• break any law, or a platform's rules that require you to disclose AI-generated or altered content;
• remove copyright or author information from work that isn't yours in order to claim it or infringe the owner's rights;
• mislead people about the origin of an image in a way that causes harm, such as fraud or impersonation;
• overload, probe or attack the service, or access it with automated tools at volume.

We may block access for anyone who misuses the service.

No warranty

We work hard to make the service accurate, but we don't guarantee that it detects every AI marker, removes every piece of metadata from every file, or that a platform will or won't label a cleaned image. Check important files yourself before you share them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
