Questions

Does ChatGPT hide watermarks in its text?

OpenAI has said the unusual spaces sometimes found in ChatGPT text are a side effect of how its models write, not a watermark. Invisible characters also come from copying out of chat windows, documents and translation tools, or are added on purpose to track text. This tool finds them whatever the source.

How do I find zero-width spaces in text?

Paste the text above. Every zero-width space, joiner and other invisible character is counted and highlighted in the preview, and the clean version leaves them out.

Will this make AI text pass an AI detector?

No. Detectors judge the wording itself, not hidden characters. This tool fixes the text so it pastes cleanly into documents, websites, code and forms.

What are hidden tag characters?

Unicode has a block of invisible characters that mirror ordinary letters. They can carry a hidden message, or instructions for an AI model, inside text that looks normal. The cleaner shows the hidden message in the preview and removes it.

Will it break emoji or other languages?

No. Joiners that build emoji like 👨‍👩‍👧 and that shape Hindi, Arabic and Persian text are kept. They are only removed between Latin letters, spaces and punctuation, where they serve no purpose.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. The cleaning runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste leaves your device.
